New York State Thruway to exit 24

Route 87 north (Northway) to exit 23 (Warrensburg

At end of ramp go left (west) 0.2 miles to light at junction of Route 9

Go right onto Route 9 following it north for 4.1 miles
to Route 28 which goes off to the left

Follow Route 28 approximately 21 miles to the hamlet of North River, NY

After passing through North River, you will cross a railroad track and start up a long hill.

3.6 miles from that railroad track is the Northern Frontier sign and road on your right
