BUILD SOMETHING REAL.
At Northern Frontier, our Woodshop, often called the Craftshop, is where boys learn the satisfaction of working with their hands. It’s not about making simple crafts. Here, campers build real, wood-based projects that they can take pride in.
Under the guidance of skilled instructors, campers learn how to measure, cut, sand, and assemble their own creations. Each project teaches patience, precision, and care. Safety always comes first, and every boy is taught how to handle tools responsibly and respectfully.
The Craftshop is one of the places where boys discover that hard work and focus can turn a few pieces of wood into something lasting. Whether it’s a toolbox, a birdhouse, or another camp favorite, the finished project is more than a souvenir. It’s something they made with their own hands, a reminder of what they’re capable of.
